If you are one of our blog visitors that check in often, you've probably already realized that we've gone almost two months without a new posting. It's not that we haven't had news to share, but we aren't quite ready to make any 'official' announcements yet. That being said, we have shared our excitement with many of you in person, and are almost ready to share it with the rest of the world,,, but not quite yet :) So here is what we will tell you right now:
Tomorrow will be a very special day for us, yet difficult at the same time. An amazing young woman has made a plan to share a part of herself with us - a very important part of herself. Although we are extremely grateful and excited about the gift she is giving us, our hearts go out to her. This will not be an easy day for anyone involved... we know this. As much as some people may think tomorrow is about us, it is not. It's about a child. One day soon, we hope to call this child our own. Until then, we will be there for this young woman, and hope that we can answer her prayers, as she is answering ours.
I don't really know what else to say right now... plus, I can't see through my tears. We hope to have more to share in the days ahead. Please check back soon - we promise to reveal some details once things are a little more official :)
